Mangaluru: The Muslim Central Committee of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts will decide the future course of action on Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) after the Supreme Court delivers its verdict on CAA, TMCC President K S Masood said.
“Our fight against CAA will begin from here. The massive protest rally against CAA organised recently at Adyar was a grand success with nearly three lakh people participating in the convention,” he claimed on Saturday.
The volunteers had cleaned the road and the venue of protest the following morning.
Committee Vice President Ibrahim Kodijal urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah to withdraw the act after looking at the protests across the country.
