Mundgod: An unknown vehicle has knocked down a working women and fled from the scene in Kalghatgi- Mundgod road on Monday. The woman was badly injured and has been hospitalised.

According to the sources the women Jayamma Oblesh (50) was jointing the cable on the road side when a two wheeler hit her and escaped immediately.

Mundgod police have registered the case and looking for the escaped vehicle.
