Mundgod: A woman who was going to a hospital after experiencing delivery pain gave birth to a baby girl in the 108 ambulance after her condition got worse. 

The health workers in the ambulance included Dhanraj, ambulance driver Prakash and senior assistant nurse Gauramma Kamat, who performed the maternity service. 

The mother and child were taken to Mundgod Government Hospital.
