Karwar: Mullai Muhilan took charge as the new deputy commissioner of Uttara Kannada on Monday.

A 2013 batch IAS officer, Mullai Muhilan hails from Tamil Nadu.

Prior to this posting, he has served as MD of Belagavi Smart City Project,  Shivamogga Palike Commissioner, Shivamogga Smart City Project, Ramnagara ZP CEO and at Department of  Personnel and Administration Reforms as Deputy Secretary to the government.
