Mangaluru:  West Bengal Police arrived in the Dakshina Kannada district and arrested one person here in connection with a cyber-crime on Saturday.

Police said a complaint in this report was registered in Kolkata.

The arrested person has been identified as Sanjay Krishna, who was reportedly running a trading business here.

According to police , Sanjay has been arrested for allegedly creating a fake social media account in the name of a Bengal girl currently staying in Bengaluru. The girl reportedly had filed a complaint with Kolkata Police, which arrived in the city and arrested accused.
