Mangaluru: A 28-year-old rowdy-sheeter who was assaulted with lethal weapons succumbed to injuries at a private hospital in Mangaluru on Tuesday.

The rowdy-sheeter was identified as Raja alias Raghavendra. Miscreants suspected to be Raja’s friends had attacked him with lethal weapons on Monday night.

An old rivalry is said to be the reason behind the attack, stated police sources.
