Mangaluru: An auto rickshaw driver was killed at Nethravathi bridge on Saturday.

The deceased was identified as Shyamprasad (45), a resident of Pajeer Senerebailu. He was returning home after dropping a neighbour in Mangaluru.

The speeding car collided into the auto rickshaw, throwing Shyamprasad out of the vehicle. He died on the spot after the car ran over him. The police have registered a case.
