Mangaluru: Anil kumar, 37, a constable attached to the 7th Battalion, KSRP, has been reported missing since tuesday. He was staying at the staff quarters in the konaje police station limits. According to the police, Anil had taken a leave for a few days, and had gone to Kadur in Chikkamagaluru, his hometown.

He reportedly went missing after returning to Mangaluru on Tuesday. Police also added that he had sent a text message to his superior, hinting at ending his life. Anil was staying with his wife and mother at the staff quarters. A case has been registered and a search is on to find him.
