Mangaluru: The Puttur Town police have arrested five persons on the charges of ganja consumption.

The arrested accused are Kanishka Shetty,25, Prajwal, 28, Hithesh Naik,19, Navaneeth S B,23, and Kishan Kumar,24.

The accused were picked up for creating a public nuisance, and it was suspected that they had consumed ganja.

The medical examination conducted at the KS Hegde Hospital, proved that they were under the influence of ganja.

A case has been booked under the NDPS Act.
