Mangaluru: A local court has granted bail to 14 PFI leaders, taken into preventive custody by the city and DK police on September 27, ahead of its ban by the Central government.

They were arrested under the CrPc 107 and 151 as a preventive measure from various police station jurisdictions. Those who were granted bail are Mahammad Sharief, Muzair Kudroli, Mohammed Naufal Hamza, Shabeer Ahammad, Nawaz Ullal, Mohammed Iqbal, Davood Nowshad, Nazeer, Ismail Engineer , Ibrahim, Ejaz Ahmed, Raziq, Feroz and Jabir Ariyadka.
