Mangaluru: Personnel of Barke police station during routine vehicle checking near Durga Mahal, have detected a case of motorcycle theft on Saturday and arrested two person in this connection.

Police seized the stolen vehicle and has recovered three stolen cellphones from the accused Lokesh (22), of Bovi Colony in Shivamogga district and Mahanthesh (36), of Hirekerur in Haveri district.

According to police, the duo, after robbing Pradeep of his wallet and cellphone, had taken away his bike on February 4, near PVS Kalakunj at Kodialbail. The total value of property seized is Rs 50,500.
