Mangaluru: For the academic year 2025–26, Mangalore University is inviting applications for guest lecturer positions in its constituent colleges—University College, Mangaluru; University First Grade College, Mangala gangothri; University College, Nelyadi; and University College, Bannadka, Moodbidri—for undergraduate (UG) courses in the following subjects:

English, Kannada, Hindi, Sanskrit, History, Economics, Political Science, Physics, Chemistry, Microbiology, Mathematics, Computer Science/BCA, Botany, Zoology, Sociology, Journalism, Geography, Commerce & Management, BBA (Tourism & Travel Management), Physical Education/Sports.
Eligible candidates must have a minimum of 55% marks in a postgraduate degree from a recognized university (50% for SC/ST candidates). Applications must be submitted online through the university’s official website before the deadline. The last date to submit fully documented applications is June 5.
Required Documents (Self-Attested):
SSLC mark sheet, UG and PG marks cards and degree certificates, UGC/NET/SLET qualification certificates, Ph.D./M.Phil degree certificates, research publications (Scopus/WoS/UGC-approved journals).
Incomplete or late applications will not be considered. Selection will be made in accordance with UGC guidelines and Karnataka government reservation norms. Candidates must provide their email ID and mobile number in the application form. Selected candidates must be willing to serve in any of the university’s constituent colleges. The university’s decision will be final.
A non-refundable application fee of ₹250 (₹125 for SC/ST/Category-1) must be paid through the University’s website under the section "005/60 - University Fee" and the e-receipt should be uploaded with the application. The date of interview will be announced on the same website.
Guest Teacher Applications for Residential Schools and Colleges
The Department of Social Welfare and Backward Classes Welfare, which manages residential schools and colleges in Dakshina Kannada district, is inviting applications for temporary guest teacher positions for the academic year 2025–26. This is to ensure the academic welfare of students in vacant posts.
