Mangaluru: The state government has transferred A B Ibrahim, deputy commissioner of Dakshina Kannada district on Thursday. Ibrahim will be the new commissioner for transport and road safety in place of Ramegowda.

Meanwhile K G Jagadeesha, a 2005 batch IAS officer, presently, MD of Rajiv Gandhi Rural Housing Corporation Ltd will assume the role of DC of Dakshina Kannada, it is learnt.
