Bhatkal: Renowned entrepreneur and industrialist R N Shetty, who made Murdeshwar famous at national and international level, passed away at 3.20 AM today due to a cardiac arrest. He was 92 years old.

Apart from being a dynamic businessman and industrialist, RN Shetty was also active in social and religious services. In a small village like Murdeshwar, RN Shetty has been instrumental in building a huge temple and giving it a new look over the last three or four decades and making it one of the best tourist spots in the world. He has truly been the architect of the new and developed Murdeshwar.
