Mangaluru: A 25-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly selling ganja oil at Ukkuda in Bantwal taluk of Dakshina Kannada district, police sources said.

Around 300 gm of ganja oil and 40 gm of ganja were seized from him, the sources said. He was arrested on Sunday based on a tip-off that he was illegally storing and selling ganja in the area, they said. During interrogation, he admitted to extracting ganja oil for sale.

It was revealed that the accused had contacts with drug peddlers from Visakhapatnam, the sources said. Besides, the accused had arrangements for selling ganja oil in Bengaluru and was arrested while trying to expand his network in Dakshina Kannada district, they said.
