Kumta: A cylinder caught on fire and lead to its blast, burning important documents and electric goods. According to the sources, the incident took place in the house of Narayan Ganpati Ambiga who is the resident of Dandakoli. The blast ruined every electrical appliance but no one was injured in this blast. It is said that the cylinder was partially empty during the blast. Narayan is a fisherman by profession who works in Goa and reached home after the blast, while his wife was outside the house, busy cleaning the varanda. 
According to the sources the fire was so severe that it burned the entirety of the refrigerator, grinder, and the steel cupboard and the items present in it were turned into ashes. The revenue department rushed to the spot and examined the incident.
