Limca record in Limbo skating set by five-year-old girl from Karwar

Karwar: A five-year-old girl from Karwar, Priyadarshini Hiremath, created a record in limbo skating by performing blind backwards under 6.5 inches 48 bars and covering a distance of 50 meters in Kaiga township of Karwar taluk in Uttara Kannada district on 3rd May, Wednesday.

She has entered the RHR (Record Holder Republic), Limca Book of Records and Asia Book of Records by doing it within a span of 20 seconds.

Priyadarshini is studying UKG at AECS School in Kaiga and has been practising for the last six months. Her coach Dilip Hanbar of Kaiga Roller Skating Club said she has been learning skating for the last two years.

Her father Mahantesh Hiremath and mother Bharathi were present at the Kaiga sports ground to witness the event along with hundreds of school students, roller skating club students and officials of Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited of Kaiga and others.

RHR marketing executive Pramod Ruiya and other officials from Limca were present in the event and handed over RHR certificate to the kid.
