Kumta: A 13-Year-Old Ashna Parveen, daughter of Abdullah Posage and Mubeena, resident of Farooqi Mohalla in Hubbangeri village in Kumta taluk, who is battling for life suffering from 'Thalassemia major', pleads for financial assistance as she will be undergoing a bone marrow transplant surgery in the next few days, for which the cost of treatment is nearly INR 22,00,000. 

Hailing from a poor family and overcoming many challenges, Ashna's parents have spent every ounce of money, including selling their valuables for paying the medical fees and are now requesting to help them. Earlier, Ashna had to undergo a blood transfusion once a month, but now she has to undergo it once in 13 days. To overcome this with a permanent solution, doctors have said that she has to undergo a bone marrow transplant, which costs Rs. 22 lakhs.
