Kumta: A 35-Years old man, employed as a village accountant in Kumta taluka office, commits suicide by hanging himself after the girl she loved rejected to move with him to his place. The incident took place on 6th March, Monday, here at Chitrgi in Kumta. 

The deceased has been identified as Nagaraj Nayak, a resident of Ankola. Nagaraj took this extreme step of committing suicide in his lover's home itself. It is said that  Nagaraj was in affair with a girl of Kumta and was having illegal relationship too. When Nagaraj urged the girl to move along with him to Ankola for his place, the girl denied. This made Nagaraj go under depression and hanged himself at girl's place.

A case has been registered in Kumta police station and further investigations are on.
