Kumta: A 25-Years old man named Venkatramana Patgar lost his life to an unfortunate incident that took place near Gokarna in Kumta in the early hours of 27th November Sunday. It is reported that Patgar died when he slipped into a nearby well while watering the plants in a garden.

The deceased is a resident of Gokarna in Kumta taluk. 

Sources said that the incident took place when the deceased Venkatramana was lifting water from the well, when he missed his balance and fell into it.

In this regard, a case has been registered in Gokarna police station and further investigations are on.
