Bhatkal: Body of a fisherman who drowned at Honalli sea in Kumta on Tuesday was found today, Wednesday. He was identified as Muhammed Hasan Adam (28), hailing from Bhatkal Tengingundi.

He and another fisherman, Abul Hasan Ali (40) drowned on Tuesday when thier fishing boat capsized due to the bad weather. Body of Muhammed Hasan Adam found today morning while Abul Hasan's body has not yet traced and the search continues.

Hundreds of people from Bhatkal gathered at the Vanalli beach when the body of Muhammed Hassan was found today morning. The body was first taken to Kumta Govt hospital for the post mortem, later it was handed over to their relatives. He was buried at Attar Mohalla Qabrastan after namaze janaza which was performed at Attar Masjid in Tengingundi.
