Karwar: Karavali Utsav has announced to host marathon for men & women separately 'Karavali run-2016' on 11th December. Interested participants can register their names online.

Karavali run-2016 there will be covered in 3km, 5km and 10km running in which the winner of 3km Marathon will receive the prize. For 5km, 1st prize is Rs15000, 2nd prize is Rs10000 & 3rd prize is Rs5000 cash. Similarly for 10km, 1st prize is Rs 25000, 2nd prize is Rs15000 & 3rd prize is Rs10000 cash. This Marathon is proposed and collaborated by Aditya Birla Grasim chemicals. DC SS Nakul has requested people to come up for the marathon making it a grand success. District Nodal officer Monish Mudgal revealed the posters for the marathon. DC SS Nakul, zilla panchayat officer L Chandra Shekhar Naik, probationary officer Fouzia Tarannum, Asst Commissioner Shiva Anand and others were present on the occasion.
