Karwar: Sale and transportation of liquor on the border of Goa has been banned in view of the assembly elections to be held in Goa on February 4.

Along the 10 km border line of Goa attached to Uttara Kannada district liquor sale and transporation would be banned from the 12 midnight of  February 1 to midnight of February 4.
