Karwar (DHNS): “The Constitution provides fundamental rights to all. It is our duty to follow it. People should understand their rights and lead a good life”, said mimicry artist Vasant Bandekar.

He was speaking at a blood group testing programme held at Government School here recently by Karwar’s Azad Youth Club and Kallur Education Trust as part of World Human Rights Day.

In case of any injustice to anybody, they can make use of the human rights to seen protection, he said.

Club’s Nazeer Ahmed Sheik said, such programmes are held for protection of children and to create awareness among people.

School headmaster Balakrishna Naik, Lokmanya Bank;’s Mahendra Naik were present.

Teacher Sridevi Keramane welcomed.

Blood group of 103 students was checked on the occasion.
