Karwar: Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) conducted examination for recruitment to 1,237 posts of First Division Assistants (FDA), at 19 centres in Karwar on Sunday.

As many as 4,334 candidates had applied for the exam in Karwar. In the morning, general studies paper was held and 3,379 candidates appeared for the exam and 965 remained absent. 3,374 candidates appeared for the afternoon paper (General Kannada & English) held in the afternoon and 970 remained absent.
