A bangaluru based kannada organization chief was arrested by the gokarna police on Thursday night for allegedly duping a resident of ankola of Rs 30 lakh in cash in the pretence that the money was seized by cops. He was handed over to police but the money is yet to be discovered.” Ajit nayak is not the member of this organization anymore he was expelled long ago” said the organization officials.

Gorish, a resident of ankola girish, had sold a plot for 30 lakhs and received the amount in Rs.2000 notes. Ajit informed girish and alerted himk about the problems of carrying large number of new notes and consoled him to sigh in brief.

Ajit celled Vishwanath Naik, a CMC member of ankola and added him in his team. N Govind, gokarna sub inspector was cell by ajit and informed him about few people carrying a large amount in car. Then tried to fit the knot by some amount but the cop threatened him by criminal case. By taking the amount from girish, ajit allegedly transferred the money somewhere with the help of vishvanath. As a responsible friend ajit said girish that the amount was seized by cops and that he would try to bring the money back and handed a cheque of Rs.27 lakhs as a security.

Dubious, girish contacted govind and requested him to bring the money back. Stupefied by the turn of events, the gokarna cops raided ajit’s house and arrested him on Thursday. He was handed over to the ankola police as the crime was commited in their borders. He was arrested before for raiding a liquor den acting as excise officer and exhorting few people acting as cop.
