Mangaluru: What should have been a celebration turned into mourning when a young man died hours before his wedding at Panja, which comes under Subramanya police limits here on 13th July, Tuesday. The house which was once rejoicing fell into a pall of gloom. 

The deceased has been identified as Sachin (31), son of Parameshwara Gowda of Kandoor, who was scheduled to get married to Gayatri, daughter of Balakrishna Gowda of Honnapady, Edamangala.The wedding ceremony was to be held at Sri Paindody Subrayaswamy Temple.

According to his family members, Sachin was getting ready for his big day, when he lost his balance while shaving and fell on the floor. An injured Sachin was rushed to a hospital in Puttur where he failed to respond to treatment and breathed his last, sources said.

Subramanya police have registered a case.
