Mangaluru: Organisations which invade the privacy of youths should be banned, Dakshina Kannada Youth JD(S) president Akshith Suvarna stressed on Tuesday.

He told reporters at Hotel Utsav that incidents like the chaos at Re-Cycle pub were bringing a bad name to the district.

“Who has given them the authority to stop parties or get-togethers? Are they police or their parents?” he asked.

“Such anti-social elements should be banned. Why are such incidents repeating when elections are approaching? There are students who come from various states and districts to Dakshina Kannada for education. Even the businessmen are thinking twice about investing in the district because of such incidents,” he added.
