Mangaluru:  Life came to standstill across Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts on Sunday as people joined the call given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to observe 'Janata Curfew' to fight against spread of Coronavirus as the number of Covid-19 positive cases are on the rise.

In the Port City, roads wore desert look, all shops and business establishments had downed their shutters.

Vehicles are off the roads. Sunday mass was cancelled in Churches and Temples remained closed.
