Bhatkal: The much awaited two days Jamiat Ul Huffaz Quran Competition begins in Bhatkal from today 30th March, thursday here at town's Tanzeem ground located in Nawayath colony. This wonderful program is organized under the banner of Jamiat Ul Huffaz, Bhatkal. The entire program with different sessions will be brought to you by SahilOnline via live telecasting.
The inauguration of the program began with the recitation of versus from Holy Quran by Hafiz Ahmed, while Hafiz Asgar Siddiqi recited a Naat in a pleasant voice. Both sung with a heart melting tunes.
As a cheif guest, Maulana Muhammed Zakariya Sanbhali Nadvi were present. Other guests who arrived from Arabs included Al Shaikh Al Dakhtoor Abdul Raheem Muhammad Ali and Al Sayeed Ahmed Noorayi. Other than these, Cheif Qazi of Bhatkal JamatUl Muslimeen Maulana Muhammad Iqbal Mulla Nadvi, Qazi of Markazi Khalifa Jamat-Ul-Muslimeen Maulana Khwaja Mohiddin Akrami Madani, Principal of Jamia Islamia Bhatkal Maulana Maqbool Kobattey Nadvi and other dignitories were present on the dias.
Maulana Abdul Aleem Nadvi, Khateeb of Jamia Masjid Bhatkal, delivered an welcome speech and briefly presented an introduction of Jamiat Ul Huffaz. In his address, he said, "Jamiat Ul Huffaz is an organization which was established since 22 years, but from few years back it has started serving enthusiastically towards it's moto." About the program, he further said, "This competition is organized in Bhatkal with the aim of strengthening the memory of Huffaz e Kiraam (One who memorise holy Quran) in strongly remembering the holy Quran, also to encourage them to participate in higher competitions". "Jamiat Ul Huffaz plans at organizing initial program at local level, while further it will plan to come up with national level", he added. Maulana also said that, around two years back, similar event was held for blind Hafizs, which also saw a great heights of success.
Maulana Samaan Khalifa Nadvi compered the event, while Maulana Niyamathullah Askeri Nadvi was the president of the event.
