Bhatkal: Susgadi and Mavalli hobli-level integrated agriculture campaign 2019-20 will be held in Bhatkal taluk from Jun 10 to 15, said Assistant Director of Agriculture Madhukar Naik.

Issuing a press release he infomred that the campaign will be held under the tag line 'Departments towards farmers doorsteps', in which Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, forest, Fisheries, Sericulture, Women and Child Development, Social Welfare Depatment, Helath, Education and other departments will jointly provide information about the various schemes and projects implemented by the respective departments through the exhibitions.

The scientists of Agriculture University and experts will deliver special lectures and hold seminars on agriculture equipments, machines, schemes of various departments, farmers registration programme, effective use of water and other aspects related to agriculture, release added.

It also said that, MLA Sunil Naik will inaugurate the campaign in the premises of taluk panchayat at 10:00 am on June 10. The campaign will be held at Heble, Jali, Mavinkurve, Mundalli and Muttalli on June 10 and at Marukeri, Haduvalli, Konar, Belke and Yalvadikavoor on June 11.

According to press release, an interaction programme with farmers will be held in the premises of Kudrebirappa temple at Chautani on June 12 and awareness programmes to be held at Mavalli -1 and 2, Kaikini and Bailur gram panchayat limits on June 13.
