Shiroor: The Graduation Day was celebrated on Monday at Green Valley National High School and PU College in Shiroor.
Speaking on the occasion, Professor Umesh Shetty, Principal, Dr B B Hegde First Grade College, Kundapur, as the cheif guest, addressing the graduating students, said, students play a vital role in developing the nation by adopting positive thinking. Students should choose the field they are interested in. He advised students not to choose the field under pressure of parents or friends, but to go with their own choice.
Principal of Green Valley School, John Mathew speaking to the students, said that the life is full of challenges. Students have to decide what challenge they accept in life and what destination they want to reach, which requires a lot of hard work.
The program was presided by Green Valley Institute Vice President Muhammad Meera. While speaking to students, he expressed his wishes for them to move forward in the academic field for a better future and life.
It shall be noted that this event was hosted for outgoing students of 2nd PU and SSLC. On this occasion, the students were also honoured with momentous and certificates.
