Karwar: GPs to issue record of rights, tenancy and crop

Karwar: The process of issuing RTCs has been started at all the 231 grama Panchayat in the district. The farmer’s henceforth need not go to Nada Kacheris to obtain the same.

The State government has taken this decision following complaints of delay in obtaining RTCs from the Nada Kacheries.

Bapuji Seva Kendra

As many as 46 Bapuji Seva Kendras have been sanctioned to the district, stated Deputy Commissioner S S Nakul. The decision to provide the services under one roof would be of a great benefit to the farmers and the villagers. The farmers can avail benefits of many as 100 services offered by Revenue and Panchayat Raj Departments under one roof.

Mobile recharge

Apart from the services of Revenue and Panchayat Raj Department, the Bapuji Seva Kendras would also offer services like mobile recharging.

As many as 17 payment facilities, like payment of electricity bills, telephone bills, insurance premium, vehicle insurance premium, mobile recharge, DTH and data recharge bus, train, and ticket booking, and fund transfer would be offered at kendras.

District in-charge Minister RV Deshpande will launch the facility at Sambrani Gram Panchayat on July 25, Nakul added.
