Kumta: An illegal Goan liquor valuing around one lakh rupees is reported to be seized by the excise officials in one of the house in Bargi of Kumta taluk on 31st January, tuesday and have arrested the accused involved into this illegal activity.

The accused has been identified as Lalitha Gopal Naik, a resident of Bargi village of Kumta taluk. 

Official sources say, the incident came to light, when a team of excise personals went on for  raiding into the accused's house early morning of 31st January, Tuesday.

In this regard,  a case has been registered against the accused and investigations are carries on.
