Kumta: A gas filled tanker truck toppled on Handigon NH66 on the outskirts of Kumta on Saturday morning, as a result of which traffic movement on the highway was affected badly.

Sources informed that the incident happened when the truck was heading towards Hubballi from Mangaluru, during which the driver lost the control over the vehicle. There were no kind of casualties in the incident. 

As the information was alerted, fire brigade personnel rushed to the spot as mark of safety precaution. The traffic movement was also stopped observing safety of the movers. 

 A case has been registered in Kumta police station.
