Sirsi: Sirsi police on Tuesday arrested four persons after they were caught red-handed involved in gambling activities here at Gosavi galli in the city. 

The arrested are identified as Patel Bhavi Gosavi, Manjunath Suresh Gosavi, Suresh Bhavi Gosavi, and Keshav Kishan Gosavi. Police also confiscated a cash amount of 1580 rupees from the accused possession.

In the raid, Sirsi DySP Gopalkrishna Nayak, CPI B U Pradeep, Market police station PSI Nagappa, Nagendra Nayak, Chidanand Naik, Venkatesh Naik and other police personnel were present.

In this regard, a case has been registered at New Market police station in Sirsi.
