Freezers donated to preserve the bodies at Bhatkal Government Hospital

Bhatkal: Bhatkal Taluka Government Hospital often faced the lack of proper arrangements for keeping the dead bodies safe. Resolving this issue, two freezers were donated to the hospital by Bhatkal's 'Nag Yaksha Dharma Devi' organization.

A brief function was held on the occasion in which Ram Das Prabhu, President of Nag Yaksha Dharma Devi Organization was honored. He said that the good deeds we do are our assets which never end. Our donation should be such that it can be used by the needy at any time. 

Presiding over the function, Savita Kamat, Administrative Officer, Taluka Hospital, said, it was due to the cooperation of the people that better services could be provided in the government hospital.

Former Bhatkal MLA JD Naik said that birth and death are essential aspects in human life. In some cases, there is a need to keep the body safe and there was a problem of not being managed at that time. It is commendable that such an important need has been met. 

Senior Advocate Shrishti also expressed his views.  

Dr. Lakshmish Naik, Dr. Satish B, Ashok Pai, Srinivas Kamat, Arvind Pai, Pundalik Heble, Nazeer Qasimji, Ganapathi Prabhu, Padmanabh Pai, Dr. Bharat Kumar, Dr. Nambiar, and many others were present on the occasion.
