Belgavi: Medical Education and Health Minsiter K Sudhakar informed that the government has decided to conduct all tests in government hospital across the State free of cost from January and it includes CT scan and blood test. Systems have been put in place for paperless systems in hospitals.

Speaking after inaugurating various developmental works after Belgavi Institue of Medical Sciences District Hospital on Saturday, he said, the super speciality 350 bedded hosptial being constructed in Belagavi at a cost of Rs 7 crore will soon be inaugurated, he stated.

He said Covid vaccine is still four months away but the State is making all pre-preparations for storage and distribution of vaccine.
