Successful medical camp organised by BJA in Bhatkal

Bhatkal: Free health checkup camp was conducted by Bhatkal working journalist association on the occasion of silver jubilee celebration of B. J. A. and a lot of people were benefited by this camp.

Bhatkal MLA Mankal Vadya inaugurated the function and the expert doctor from Udupi Adarsh Hospital, advised the patient about their disease and recommended them some measures to deal with it. Rabita society and many other community coteries were along with this health camp.

Addressing the spectators, Bhatkal MLA Mankal Vadya said “Journalists play vital role in paving the way to understand the social compilations. Bhatkal Journalist Association (BJA) had been performing these types of camps and works related to social betterment. This must not just be meant for some special occasions but must be continued”.

 Expert cardiologist doctor, Shreekanth of Udupi Adarsh Hospital and president of Zilla Panchayat, Jayshree Moger also addressed the public.

Doctors of Adarsh Hospital, Dr. A Raja, Dr. Uday Kumar Prabhu, president of taluka panchayat Ishwar Naik, TMC president Mohammed Sadique Matta, Tanzeem general secretary Altaf Kharoori, NRI businessman Yunus Qazia, doctor of taluka hospital Manjunath Shetty, Mohammed Meera Siddique, S J Hashim, president of BJP Rajesh Naik and many other community leaders were present in the function.

Vote of thanks was given by President of working journalist association, Radha Krishna Bhatt and Prasanna Prabhu presided the function while Jagdesh Joje was felicitated in the function.
