Bhatkal: The foundation stone for Labbaik Nawayath Sports City was laid on Friday by the Bhatkal Qazis here at Qidwai road, which was followed with a function.

The program that started with the recitation of the Holy Qur'an by Maulana Mustafiz Kadli, was attended by a large number of people. Musa Umair Kazmi and group recited the Labbaik anthem.

Maulana Abdul Ahad Fakarde Nadvi, General Secretary of Labbaik Nawayath, welcomed the participants and briefed the purpose of the initiative, in which he clarified that the main objective is to bring the youth on one platform in the name of sports and make them be on the right path.

Deputy Qazi of Bhatkal Jamaatul Muslimeen Maulana Abdur Rab Nadvi, Qazi of Khalifa Jamaatul Muslimeen Maulana Khaja Akrami Nadvi, Khateeb of Bhatkal Jamia Masjid Maulana Abdul Aleem Nadvi, and many other leaders presented their views on this occasion.

The brochure of Sports City was launched by the President of Majlise Islah Wa Tanzeem SM Syed Ahmed Parvez. The program was concluded with the prayers of Maulana Abdur Rab Nadvi.

The program was presided by Labbaik Nawayath President Ahmed Ruknaddin. Maulana Abdullah Rabi Khalifa Nadvi compered the event.
