Mangaluru: The customs sleuths at Mangaluru International Airport seized foreign currency notes of 27,500 United Arab Emirates Dirham (AED) (Rs .77 lakh) from a male passenger hailing from Kasaragod when he attempted to smuggle it out of India during his travel to Dubai by a flight on Wednesday.

A case has been registered against the passenger.
