Karwar: The body of a fishermen, in a dead condition was found here at a Baithkol Bunder on 7th febraury, tuesday. The deceased fishermen has been identified as Dhamendra Ram (20), a resident of Jharkand.

Sources say, the victim died by unfortunately slipping while spreading a net from the boat. Observed his body in a dead floating condition by other fishermen, immediately rang-up to the police department. The police personnel rushed to the spot and conducted the necessary investigations and shifted the body to the govt hospital.

A case has been registered in Karwar police station.
