Bhatkal: A fisherman lost his life after he drowned in the Arabian sea while returning from fishing activity in his boat here in Heble Gram limits in Bhatkal on Tuesday.

The deceased is identified as Govida Nagappa Moger (70), a resident of Heble. He is survived by a wife, three sons and three daughters.

A case has been registered in Bhatkal rural police station and further investigations are on.
