Kumta: As the evening hours approached, the sudden fire accidently gutted the plants and trees of Kagaal fort of Kumta taluq, that happened on 7th May, Sunday.

Initially the fire rised up on smaller plants, later went on connecting it to the trees located across and made them completely combust. It has been studied that, some way passer had lit the fire to one of the woods, which went on rising by connecting to the neighbouring wooden parts.

As soon as the information was given to fire brigade, their team rushed to the spot and were successful in rubbing out the fire. Due to the rising blaze of fire, fear among the nearby residents were seen rising.
