Honnavar: A farmer ends his life by consusming poison at Hodeshirur here in the taluk on Sunday evening. He has been identified as Gangadhar Devadiga (55). It is said that he had taken loan from a bank for his three acres land but could not repay the loan.

Honnavar police have registered the case and investigation is going on.
