Mangaluru:  The Customs officers at international Airport here have nabbed a smuggler and seized from him Rs 13 lakh worth gold today.

Official sources said the accused has been identified as Vinesh Raju Advani hailing from Ulhasnagar of Thane District, Maharashtra who arrived from Dubai on Friday by Spicejet flight.

He was carrying gold in powder form mixed with solid gum concealed in rectum and gold in form of ring, kada, button and label totalling 284.900 grams and valued about Rs.13,16,238.
