Mangaluru: Customs officials yet again managed to foil the attempts, which were made to smuggle gold into the country through different methods and seized 655.94 gms of 24K purity gold, valued at Rs 21.65 lakh, in three separate cases at Mangaluru International Airport on Wednesday.

The gold was found concealed in underwear in the form of paste in two passengers and in one case the yellow metal was concealed as gold strips in a measuring tape.
