Mangaluru (TNN): Mangaluru city police arrested an interstate criminal and recovered cash and valuables worth Rs 2.36 lakhs from him on Friday. Police identified the accused as Manjunath, 49, son of Puttappa, Davangere.

Police recovered four gold bangles, two gold coins, two silver ring and cash of Rs 66,000. Cases are registered against him in Chennai as well.

A case has been registered at Urwa Police Station.

Ganga seized

Kavoor police station personnel have seized 320 grams of ganja, a two-wheeler and arrested two persons in this connection.

Police said Shareef and Basheer were arrested while they were carrying ganja in a bike near Vidyanagar.
