Mangaluru:  District In-charge Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary has appealed to the members of the public to remain cautious and protect themselves from the spread of Covid-19.

He urged people to wear mask in public places and maintain social distance. In addition, priority should be given for hand sanitisation. All Covid-19 guidelines should be adhered while attending public programmes. Covid-19 guidelines should be followed to avoid lockdown, he added.

He said the district administration had made all arrangements for vaccination in district. The minister said that vaccines were administered in Wenlock Hospital, all taluk hospitals, six community health centres, 78 PHCs, 33 private hospitals including 8 medical colleges.
