Mangaluru: Deputy Commissioner Sindhu B Rupesh has requested all the passengers who travelled by a private bus [Bharati Travels] from Majestic in Bengaluru to Mangaluru on March 20 to report to the concerned officials.

In a statement issued here on Sunday he said this came after a 39-year-old person who tested positive for COVID-19 in Dakshina Kannada on Friday, April 17 travelled in a private bus from Majestic in Bengaluru to Mangaluru on March 20.

All the 32 passengers, who had travelled by the same bus, have been advised to undergo health check-up at their nearest primary health centres.
